1. HighDetail Bearings

New feature: Compute lifetime of bearings according to ISO/TS 16281.

New feature in spring forces viewer allows to quickly select rows of single bearings.

New functionality makes possible to include spring forces arrows into 3D animations.

Improved design of spring forces viewer.

New columns "Translational gap" and "Rotational gap" available in "Spring forces" table. Corresponding button "Plot gaps" available.

2. Modal superposition

Add "Restore assembly" option to the modal superposition UI. The option is per default active. The exported assembly is restored from solution file before the MSUP model is generated. This solves the issue that I/Os with DOF rotation from translations leads to wrong results when parts have the wrong position.

New feature: Select multiple models from a list to merge their bode plots into one window.

Improved Bode plot tool: The reference output (needed for dividing two frequency responses) can be set in an additional field.

Improved Bode-Plot: Y axis of phase plot in 90° steps.

Improved DOF labels of Inputs in MSUP tool to make more clear that the input are force based inputs.

Changed default values for last mode and number of rigid modes (default is empty fields).

3. Report generator

New button in Report generator, "Export multiple" to generate reports for multiple assembly variants.

New button "Plot selected" available for Result path, which allows to merge plot multiple report variants.

New button "Replace point", Highlight of selected path point, automatic redraw after editing path points, improved logic of "Add point" (see tooltips).

New button added to the Chain Version UI "Report stage" to automate the report generation for selected stages.

Added units to different result items.

4. Assembly validation

Improved validation of multibody parts without inner connections which now takes into account the number of bodies in part.

Improved validation of empty connections items which now list the corresponding assemblies instead of the connections items itself.

5. Meshing

Extended meshing parameter MSINTERP (mesh interpolation) which now also accepts intermediate values, which control the dept of the fine mesh.

Extended meshing parameter AUTOSETS=2 which saves nodal sets only for surfaces with special colors (red, green, blue, yellow, black).

6. Mesh statistics

Improved mass computation by considering joint masses at assembly level.

7. Loads and boundary conditions

Connection and LBC items have now icons that reflect the type of connection or LBC.

Temperature loads automatically start at current reference temperature. When the reference temperature is changed, the curves are automatically updated.

Improved LBC Table Editor, new Buttons, context menu available on table cells.

8. Post-processing

Improved 3D Legend when result quantity is "Contact Status".

Improved usability when selecting parts while results visualization is active. Now the edges of the parts are drown white if mesh is hidden.

Improved marking of result extremes which now considers the deformed state of the model.

Improved design of contact forces viewer.

Improved handling of 3D selection when results visualization is active. Now, second click on selected geometry keeps selection.

9. Topology optimization

Improved topology optimization, which now does not need explicit definition of TOPOELEM when METAELEMs are used.

10. Joints

Auto-fill function added to mass values of joints. Editing the mass component in x direction auto-fills the remaining mass values in y and z direction.

New buttons (replace old labels) that fill up the surface center with current values in Joints.

11. Solution

Changed default value for transient solution: Displacements large instead of small.

Changed default value for transient solution: Save element results for all load steps and substeps instead of only last substep.

Improved modal analysis in which available pretension joints are locked to zero displacement in order to avoid rigid body modes.
